About the Role

Position Objective: Assist Real Estate Head and post-investment management chief to primarily focus on post-investment management of direct Real Estate assets and indirect RE investments including Real Estate Funds and REITs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare regular reporting and updates on direct and indirect Real Estate’s performance, operation, financials and risk required by regulatory, AIA Life and Group, ensure the reporting process (monthly/quarterly/annually reports) in an efficient and timely manner.

  • Assist the team in the formulation and development of business plans, evaluating project performance compared to the business plan, budget, and hold-sale analysis, focusing on revenues, expenses, occupancy, and capital expenditures.

  • Undertake market research, data analysis, and revenue forecasting with respect of the property/fund under AIA’s portfolio.

  • Conduct regular and deep research of real estate market and deliver research views, analysis and reports.  

  • Review and update internal real estate investment/post investment procedure, rules, policies and regulations.

  • Establish and retain a good working relationship with all functional teams.

  • Adhoc duties in relation to post-investment management.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Education – undergraduate or above from a well-known university in China or overseas, major in finance, economics, accounting or real estate investment, estate management is preferred.

  • Experience – at least 5 years experience in real estate investment, asset management and property management. Experience with top real estate fund manager/GPs, institutional Real Estate investor or commercial real estate developer is preferred.

  • Solid financial modelling skills in investment and rich knowledge in asset management say leasing, operation, performance, valuation, hold-sale analysis, etc.

  • Professional Qualification – CPA / CFA preferred.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Bloomberg, Wind, and other professional data tools.

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skill.

  • Accountable, self-driven, efficient, focused, detail oriented, and able to work under pressure.

  • Great team player.
