Job Description

CIRS (Common Imaging Recon SW)

In this role, you have the opportunity tobeing the CIRS manager with responsibility for functional leadership and management of the CIRS (Common Imaging Recon SW) team for CT & PET/CT product lines.

You are responsible foro    Drive all elements of the CIRS function to achieve best in class proficiencyo    Develop and execute a strategic plan to obtain breakthrough level improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of CIRS Teamo    Actively promote the use of structured Agile methodologies to realize the SW engineering deliverableso    Support development of common, global way of working. Ensure the team has an articulated way of working (i.e. key process steps to complete unit project deliverables with expected quality), with verification points and process and product quality and completion metrics to provide in-process insight and early warning.o    Collaboratively execute SW development plans, with strong alignment with peer functions (e.g. physics, Systems, Gantry, DMS and other subsystems), Product-level Core Teams, and other subsystemso    Personnel leadership including skills planning and recruitment, elicitation of employee career aspirations, identification of high potentials, assessment of leadership team capability/potential, assessment and management of team morale, coaching and joint development of career development plans.o    Ensure project deliverables from SW Engineering are executed within schedule, cost and quality expectations. Drive to institute project risk management as a key routine activity within the SW Engineering teamo    Ensure compliance of resource allocation (People, Material, NRE (Non-Recurring Engineering (costs)), Travel etc.) for each project as per Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments- Develop the cross-functional plan/strategy and drives its executiono    Pro-actively monitor project progress, anticipating the effect of dependencies on scheduleo    Make daily execution decisions and drives execution mechanismso    Identify Critical dependencies, risks and contingency planningo    Identify problems with ongoing activities through the core team and facilitates the problem solving processo    Responsible for project reviews and team communicationso    Develop the entrance (Integration Readiness) and exit criteria with the cross-functional teamo    Additional duties as assigned

You are a part of A progressive and energetic team that contributes directly to the growth of the business. You have a direct reporting line to the Director, Imaging Platform, with Cross functional team as your key stakeholders.To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Must have: o    10 or more years of hands-on SW engineering experience in a product development environmento    3-4 years of leading a functional team with qualified SW engineers in global organizationo    Experienced in scrum SW development process SDLCo    Experienced in installation base products maintenance and escalation handling process o    Ability to work within a cross-functional organization with good communication skills.o    Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills while communicating in both English and Chineseo    Object oriented programming development experience, C++ or C# programming experience on Windows, or Embedded OS (preferably embedded Linux)

Nice to have: o    Master’s degree in computer science/EE/Biomedical Engineeringo    Experienced in Medical device Software product development o    Familiar with CT products, CT Recon and post processing algorithms.  o    Structured problem analysis and solvingo    Must be open-minded to assure best design is choseno    Willing to travel on business frequently
