Job title: Demand PlannerThe purpose of the position is to manage customer requirements through translating customer demand into production and material planning. To ensure the right quantity of material are available at right time for production. Execute MPS& MPR process and evaluate the capacities requirement of manpower, mahcines, equipment/tools to avoid capacity limited or anticipate any foreseeable problem that may hinder the production to meet customer’s delivery requirement.
Your role:
To be responsible for MPS & MRP process execution on time.
To develop demand forecast (operational forecasts) at multiple levels (Raw material;INJ molding parts; FGD assembly) of aggregation for multiple horizons as part of a demand planning. To maintain the record for the change of customer demand. To evaluate the available capacity against requirements, and communicate with other teams to confirm the follow-up actions.
To review the material available for planning month, ensuring that there are firmed stock (on hand stock + purchase order with vendor confirmation) for production. Hold demand and supply meeting to align the the rolling forecast with department head and operation on monthly basis.
Conduct internal analysis to track and investigate the gap between planned and actual figure for further improvement.
Follow up any abnormal in production.
Urge and assist relevant departments to deal with so that make sure production achievement on time.
Focus on FGDs inventory level at customer(RIYW/RIEW/RIMR) and coordinate the planning timely to avoid customer under Back-order by B/O monitor report and customer inventory review. Cooperate and implement engineering change to make sure production smooth and quality insurance.
Provide and update the order confirmation of each order to Sr. Order process officer. Provide monthly reprot for OTD, Planning Achievement, Capacity Requirement, etc.. as assinged.
Support Lean Kaizen project. Support PMC manager to achieve the department’s KPI.
You're the right fit if:
Bachelor degree or above in Operations or Logistics, with CPIM certification is preferred.
5+ years experience in master planning / material planning / production scheduling & execution & control / inventory control / Supply Chain.
Desktop and ERP software system experience – experience with SAP is preferred. Strong data statistics & analysis skills.
Working knowledge of BOM and Routes.
Working knowledge of (mold/tool) manufacturing processes and operations. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
