Our DSS (Data Solution Service) team is seeking Sr. Manager to join us in Tianjin. The candidate must be a skilled professional with E2E software development experience with a desire to work in an Agile, dynamic and flat organizational structure. As Sr. Manager, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and deployment of AI platform. You will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team, focusing on generic efficiency tool product, machine learning, business process automation, and data integrations. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our AI solutions
Processes Have good sense on IT development process, manage delivery quality, collaborate with peers & cross different department colleague, delivery management.
Educational Level • Master or bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, physics or related fields • Business English (at least read and written) • Chinese language (verbal and written) • Scrum Master certification would be preferable.
Qualifications: • Experience: 8-10 years of experience in AI and machine learning engineering, with a proven track record of delivering complex AI projects. • Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), LLM tool and framework such as RAG, Vector DB, Agent, LangChain etc. • GPU Expertise: Hands-on experience with GPU computing and optimization for AI workloads. • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python. • Data Engineering: Strong skills in data engineering, including data integration, ETL processes, and working with large datasets. • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively. • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities: • Platform Development: Lead the design and development of a scalable AI platform, ensuring high performance and reliability. • Projects: Responsibility of AI project technology delivery initiated from local country and group. • Standardization: Establish and enforce best practices for machine learning / large language model development, testing, and deployment. • Infrastructure Setup: Oversee the setup and management of GPU and cloud platforms to support AI workloads. • Data Integration: Design and implement robust data integration pipelines to ensure seamless access to diverse data sources. • Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and platform engineers to deliver high-quality AI solutions. • Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and apply this knowledge to improve our platform and processes. • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
Risk Management Manage open risks and audit points through to closure. Perform risk reviews of the environment and raise new risks where/when applicable.
Governance Must have strong sense of responsibility/ownership High learning aptitude, able to learn new products and technology very quickly Must be an effective communicator with business English literacy, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills, and excellent communication and presentation skills A team player who enjoys working with people on all levels as well as being able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
