Job Description:

We are looking for a highly accomplished investment advisor to provide well-rounded counsel to clients on their investment portfolios and other market activity. The primary objective for the senior UHNW Investment Advisor is to  work with a book of existing clients across the regions of Europe International, with leading focus on Israel. The purpose is to deliver a full suite of Deutsche Bank Private Bank solutions to the clients, as well as to engage in prospecting new clients to support Relationship Managers.

The Investment Advisor acts as the clients’ primary contact for all investment needs and discussions. You will be responsible for providing advice across all instruments and types of solutions, from Discretionary to Advisory portfolio management, to best execution, and across Liquidity Management, Capital Markets and Alternative Investments.

Your key responsibilities

  • Primary contact for internal and external stakeholders for investment-related discussions covering the full spectrum of the Deutsche Bank Wealth Management platform.

  • Identify clients’ needs, originate solutions, and increase share of wallet to achieve commercial objectives for the clients and the Bank.

  • Monitor clients’ portfolios, provide rebalancing ideas, execute investment reviews, ensuring investments are aligned with Deutsche Bank Chief Information Officer’s (CIO) views and asset allocation.

  • Assess clients’ risk appetite, suitability/appropriateness of various instrument for the client profiles, and ensure portfolios are built and overseen accordingly.

  • Ensure that all proposals and transactions are fully in line with suitability and appropriateness rules, and compliant with regulatory requirements and Deutsche Bank policies. Document all steps accordingly.

  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers in their prospecting efforts through developing investment proposals and pitch materials, driving investment pitches, and showcasing full suite of Deutsche Bank Wealth Management capabilities.

  • Closely work with the relevant Market Heads and the other Investment Management Heads across Europe International and other regions.

  • Develop close working relationship with various product and execution specialists to extract the best value and serve client interests efficiently and comprehensively.

Your skills and experience

  • Significant relevant market experience covering ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNW) and/ or Family Offices/ quasi-institutional clients, and strong investment knowledge across all asset classes (liquid and illiquid).

  • Fluency in delivering a capital markets outlook and experience in leading investment discussions in one-on-one meetings and small groups, both from an investment strategist’s view and markets perspective.

  • Understanding of the regulatory framework in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II and FINSA). CWMA, as a professional certification required (can be obtained in the first year of work).

  • Relevant higher education degree and professional experience of over 10 years

  • We are looking for a driven and motivated team player with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. You need to have strong work ethics and compliance expertise.

  • Deep understanding and experience in Israeli market and fluent Hebrew knowledge are of primary interest. Other languages welcome.
