We are looking for you to strengthen our fidelity department as a Senior Underwriter Fidelity at our Wallisellen location, in Zurich!

Senior Underwriter Fidelity 100% (m/f/d)

This key role reports directly to Allianz Trade’s DACH Head of Fidelity and a matrix line report to the Swiss CEO. In this role, you will be responsible for the underwriting of fidelity insurance. You will be involved in the entire sales and advisory process, from risk assessment to the development and processing of the corresponding insurance solution. In addition, you are the activity lead for the local Fidelity team of 3 experts, functioning as main point of contact for the Regional Head of Fidelity DACH.

What you can do

Representation of the product fidelity insurance of Allianz Trade Switzerland within Allianz Suisse, Allianz Commercial and in the Swiss market towards brokers and customers
Portfolio management and product underwriting (domestic & multinational business) in the field of fidelity insurance with the aim of strategic development, ensuring growth and profitability, and building a strong profit and loss (P&L)
Development and implementation of portfolio and risk strategy for all distribution channels
Responsibility for portfolio maintenance, growth and profitability of the fidelity insurance portfolio of Allianz Trade Switzerland
Overall responsibility for new business development of fidelity insurance in close cooperation with the Commercial Director
Active maintenance and expansion of the broker distribution channel of fidelity insurance in close cooperation with the Head of Broker Management
Drawing up offers and devising innovative coverage concepts within the framework of the Allianz Trade Guidelines
Preparing feasibility studies, product concepts and business cases
Continuous improvement of products, processes and systems in collaboration with the responsible offices in Switzerland and within the group
Internal and external product training for the relevant stakeholders
Being the customer’s first point of contact and coordinating with the central Fidelity claims team

What you bring with you

You are a positive, communicative and team-oriented person with approximately three to five years insurance experience in underwriting or at a broker (business-to-business). Experience in the Financial Lines division, in particular Commercial Crime and Cyber, is an advantage. You also have a degree in business administration, law or insurance-specific further training. Very good German and English skills (oral and written) are required, further foreign language skills are an advantage.
