Analysis and design of technological solutions based on business requirements and processes, as well as on knowledge of existing and future platforms. You will be part of Avaloq Europe Platform Services team and will regularly work with business stakeholders in the elaboration of functional requirements and with development teams for their technical implementation.

You have the drive and the ability to understand the business processes and has in-depth knowledge of Avaloq core banking system (ideally also the respective Deutsche Bank customization and connected satellite systems) and can transform this knowledge into functional solutions and processes that create value and enable our business.

Responsibilities

  • Defining detailed business requirements with business stakeholders
  • Reviewing solution proposals and specifications from Avaloq as a vendor
  • Supporting the implementation teams in design phase to ensure that the implementation fulfils business requirements and solutions are consistent with potential evolution
  • Cooperation with Business Architecture and Solution Architecture teams to ensure that solutions are in line with target architecture and technical roadmap
  • Hands-on test execution and test support for expert users
  • Close interaction and alignment with various business areas to ensure that all the requirements are fulfilled in all the solutions implemented
  • Strive for simplicity in designs and solutions
  • Act as a go-to person which business stakeholders can reach out for receiving subject matter expert advice, guidance and training
  • Close cooperation with the Center of Competence for driving test automation forward and engage the respective SMEs for reviewing effort estimations and detailed solution designs
  • You will be responsible for the adequacy of the proposed solutions (from its definition to its implementation) in collaboration with business and technical teams.
  • You will be integrated into Avaloq Europe Platform Services team where it will be necessary to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage collaboration with Avaloq as a vendor and other 3rd parties.

Skills

  • Strongly familiar with Avaloq Core Platform; Avaloq certification is a plus
  • Experience in JIRA, Confluence and HP ALM will be a plus
  • Experience in project management and knowledge about the entire application development life cycle (planning, budget, approval, sourcing, monitoring and implementation) including Agile methodology
  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Computing or similar. Master recommended.
  • 5+ years of experience in functional analysis in area of Private Banking, Wealth Management.
  • Ability to identify risks, resolve conflicts and plan tasks
  • Self-motivated and flexibility to work autonomously coupled with ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organizations including appreciation of different cultures during collaborating and sharing.
  • Organized self-starter able to manage in a complex environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • English proficiency required
