Our team develops and maintains real-time trading systems that facilitates the acceptance and execution of equity orders. We work with technology that enables fast and reliable systems, able to process a huge quantity of data with very low latency. We are looking for a student to help with developing new monitoring tools for the trading systems. This role suits an individual looking to experience a dynamic work environment as well as acquire new technology and financial skills.

Required Skills:

  • Object oriented languages (Java, C++)
  • Linux operating system and tools
  • Good knowledge of distributive systems
  • Good understanding of software development best practices such as source version control, automated unit testing, code reviews, CI/CD, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A strong work ethic - highly motivated and willing to do what it takes to get the job done right.
  • Enrolled in Computer Science or Information Management  Program in 2nd year or higher (preferred).
