In Group Disability, our mandate is to assist our Clients, both employees and employers, in the relentless pursuit of better health.
What will you do?
Process Access to Personal Information requests for Group Disability clients within established service and accuracy standards
Partner and communicate with other business units to ensure all requested information is provided
Respond to inquiries from clients or third-party requesters using a client-centered approach
Initiate and manage the breach containment process in cases of privacy incidents
Remain current on Group Disability practices and the Access to File Requests guidelines
Work collaboratively with internal business partners
Investigate and resolve issues or complaints
Participate in projects as requested
Identify and suggest Continuous Improvement opportunities
What do you need to succeed?
Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication in English and French
Attention to detail - ability to review and process large documents efficiently with a high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently within scheduled deadlines
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to make timely and sound decisions
Strong customer focus
A continuous improvement mindset
Working knowledge of Group Benefits, Disability Management and/or Privacy legislation, an asset
Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat DC, Word, Share Point, Outlook and Solar, an asset

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
