Team Description
Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, digital marketing and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
Within VCA exists the Tech Portfolio Optimization Practice, a team of global consultants dedicated to helping our clients boost cardholder activation, engagement, loyalty and retention through comprehensive end-to-end solutions, ranging from defining the card value proposition to implementing targeted marketing campaigns.
The potential candidate will be responsible for designing, coordinating and executing the solutions and methodologies in partnership with other consultants based in LAC markets, the data science team and Subject Matter Experts. The objective is to enhance VCA’s efficiency while delivering impactful solutions by leveraging knowledge gathered from all regions and teams.
The potential solutions and methodologies could include debit adoption, personas, attrition, SMB approach, fraud prevention, authorization optimization strategies, digital market accelerator, among others.
Key Responsibilities
Incumbents applying for the role should be motivated and analytical team players who can deliver strategic thought leadership, problem diagnostics, and high-impact solutions to support the growth and performance of our clients. Candidates must be able to develop enduring, strategic relationships with clients and across the Visa organization.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required, ideally in a quantitative field (e.g. engineering, mathematics, science) and/or business administration from top-tier school. • At least 8 years of relevant experience in financial/banking services or management consulting, especially in payments. • Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and/ or payment schemes, including products & services, business systems and processes, marketing initiatives and card management. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in portfolio optimization, digital, credit risk and/or fraud risk. • Proven experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance. Required Skills: • Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor. • Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently. • Ability to build long lasting partnerships. • Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills. • Team player and collaboration spirit. • Technology mindset, curious, up to date with digital trends and applications. • Tableau / Power BI or similar software’s knowledge. • Proficiency in English is mandatory, along with either Spanish or Portuguese.
