CDU Local Belgium is the environment where all KYC customer requests, and customer contacts are handled end-to-end for wholesale banking client with a Belgian parent account manager by a self-organizing team. The heart of this organization are 16 analysts and 3 signatories supported by the FO lead and the KYC Ops lead.
KYC is a mandatory verification of private persons and legal entities. The background is the prevention of money laundering, economic crime, and terrorism. The purpose of the KYC Center is to keep ING Belgium´s business safe and compliant with local and international regulations, while keeping a focus on the easiness and transparency for the client (internal and external).
The main focus of expertise will be on the required KYC screenings to ensure all client records are compliant with regulatory standards, and will ensure high quality and timely completion of all client-level due diligence requirements (e.g. Financial Economic Crime, FATCA, Common Reporting Standard, UBO and ESR).
Your key responsibilities
As a KYC Analyst, you will be responsible for performing detailed data gathering and analysis for new client onboarding and periodic review to complete KYC checks and Enhanced Due Diligence.
You will closely work together with the relationship manager, ING’s international network, MLRO and the client to deliver all required KYC activities (CDD,FATCA, CRS, ESR etc.) while meeting internal deadlines. You will report to the Team and FO Lead, but will work in a self-steering organization.
End-to-End responsible for analyzing KYC documentation related to the onboarding of new clients and undertaking periodic reviews (FATCA, CRS, UBO etc) of existing clients
Exhibit ownership of KYC experience and client experience
