To support our growth ambitions, we are looking for an Enterprise Architect to strengthen our team. The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing the overall IT architecture of our clients, ensuring it aligns with the business objectives and processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with a commercial affinity, excellent consulting and communication skills, strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the latest trends in technology.

Your role:

  • Understand client business objectives.
  • Design and analyze the enterprise architecture, including business, information, data, application, and technology architecture, taking into account offerings from DXC and its partners in order to realize the client’s business objectives.
  • Develop and implement a strategic IT roadmap that aligns with the organization's business objectives, target architecture, and the existing landscape. Recommend an agile approach using proof-of-concepts and realizing quick wins.
  • Work with stakeholders, both business and IT, to ensure the architecture meets business needs and IT requirements.
  • Coordinate with project managers and architects to ensure that project objectives are aligned with the overall architecture, and standards. And that the project objectives are met within the defined scope, quality, time, and cost constraints. Assist project teams with the implementation of the designed solutions. Act as a coach and mentor to team members and technical staff.
  • Maintain an understanding of emerging technologies, trends, and techniques and assess their relevance to the client's business objectives.
  • Lead and facilitate the creation and review of architecture documents and artifacts.
  • Support the risk management process by identifying and assessing the potential risks associated with the proposed IT investments and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Establish and enforce IT standards and procedures that promote the consistent use of technologies within the organization.
  • Have convincing discussions with potential clients on the above, lead the solutioning, inspire proposal teams, write commercial proposals and help to sell.
  • Act as a content coach to more junior DXC colleagues about enterprise architecture.

Your key responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor towards our clients, develop their interest and trust in DXC services.
  • Keep your knowledge up to date through technology watch opportunities.
  • Be instrumental in expanding our business in enterprise architecture domains.
  • Provide cross-functional technical leadership across all solution components.
  • Deliver consulting missions with passion, to client satisfaction.
  • Lead the technical teams in the implementation of the designed solutions.
  • Ultimate responsibility for the quality and pertinence of proposals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect preferably in a consulting or advisory capacity.
  • Proven experience with IT portfolio management and application integration across different technology stacks.
  • Ability to interact with customers regarding business and technical information.
  • High consulting skills and commercial affinity are considered major differentiators.
  • You have an entrepreneurial and pragmatic attitude
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in Dutch, French and English
  • Sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to design and scope multiple deliverables across several technologies.
  • Strong technical project leadership capabilities and be able to deal with complex issues.
  • Demonstrate strong team building skills - ability to work with a team.
  • Strong estimating skills.  Ability to provide input for Pricing.
  • TOGAF Practitioner certification is a plus
  • Understanding of frameworks such as ITSM/ITIL, COBIT, IT4IT, … is a plus
  • Master in software engineering or computer science.
