Seeking experienced Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Consultants with expertise in General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management to join our growing Oracle Cloud ERP Practice. Nice to have experience includes Employee Expenses, Tax, Procurement, Order Management, Project Costing, OTBI reporting, Financial Reporting Studio Reporting.

This role is pivotal in delivering world-class Oracle Cloud ERP solutions to our clients across Australia and New Zealand as we continue to expand and grow our Oracle practice.

DXC Technology’s Practice for Oracle is the largest independent provider of Oracle consulting and managed services in Australia and New Zealand. Established in 1998, Red Rock provides a complete service continuum around the Oracle stack and employs over 650 Oracle professionals across Australia and New Zealand.  

The Role Due to DXC Practice for Oracle’s ongoing growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Senior Consultant to join our Oracle Cloud ERP Practice to strengthen our delivery capabilities.  Reporting to the Oracle Cloud ERP Delivery Principal, the successful candidate will liaise closely with colleagues, Clients and project team members in the implementation and maintenance of Oracle Cloud ERP solutions.  

Must Have Requirements

  • Experience implementing Cloud ERP modules (note- we are not looking for Oracle EBS consultants, we want consultants with EBS or JDE backgrounds with hands on Oracle Cloud ERP experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers and project teams to gather requirements and provide end-to-end implementation and support for Oracle Cloud ERP modules, specifically General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management.
  • Design and configure financial processes and workflows within Oracle Cloud ERP, ensuring alignment with best practices and client requirements.
  • Perform detailed analysis of business needs to recommend Oracle Cloud ERP solutions, focusing on financial processes such as journal processing, consolidation and reporting, asset capitalisation, supplier and customer invoice processing, employee, customer and supplier payment processing and bank reconciliation.
  • Develop functional specifications for customisations, reports, and interfaces related to core financial modules.
  • Assist in the design and testing of financial setups, including chart of accounts, reporting hierarchies, asset accounting rules, payment integration with banks, and all standard business processes.
  • Lead and execute data migration activities for financial transactions, fixed asset registers, supplier and customer master data, and cash management setups.
  • Conduct end-user training and workshops on module functionalities like journal entries, asset depreciation, invoice matching, customer payments, and cash reconciliations.
  • Support monthly and year-end financial close processes, ensuring smooth operation of key modules such as General Ledger and Fixed Assets.
  • Work on resolving production issues for financial modules, collaborating with technical teams for enhancements or patch applications. Liaising with customers and colleagues for the consultation, requirements gathering, design, implementation and ongoing support of Oracle Cloud ERP solutions;
  • Quality management: review of key deliverables; promote consistency in solution; ensure adherence to scope; and ensure adherence to standards and procedures;
  • Provide Functional inputs to other streams such as Technical Upgrade, Development, Test and Deployment;

Key Skills Required To be successful in this position you will possess the following attributes:

  • Experience designing and configuring Oracle Cloud ERP financial setups, including workflows and approval hierarchies.
  • Excellent requirements gathering skills and ability to translate business requirements into functional design specifications.
  • Strong functional expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP modules, specifically General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving module-specific issues, such as reconciliations, asset tracking, payment processing, and ledger balancing.
  • Advanced understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP Cloud, with understanding of integration with Oracle HCM and EPM an advantage.
  • Minimum 7-10 years total implementation experience plus 3-6 years implementing and supporting Oracle Cloud ERP solutions.
  • Good interpersonal skills, establishing good working relationships with Project Team members, the business and other stakeholders. 
  • Possess a good command of the English language, written and verbal.
