The Role
An opportunity for an experienced SAP Managed Services Presales Consultant has arisen to join our DXC Application Managed Services Growth Team for the SAP family in ANZ.
We seek an experienced professional to drive growth for our organisation’s SAP Managed Services business. As the SAP Managed Services Consultant, you will be responsible for owning and managing solution design, pricing, own bid response, and assist Account Directors in the sales process.
This is a key growth-focused and hands-on role reporting to the ANZ Growth Leader, Consulting and Engineering Services (ETP & SAP). You’ll have to manage a diverse range of opportunities and be an experienced and efficient solutioning and presales consultant. You will have excellent people skills, business acumen, and an exemplary work ethic.
This position aims to drive growth of the SAP managed services business, maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and drive sustainable growth at target profit margins.

What will keep you busy
- Working with the ANZ sales team to identify and qualify opportunities and attending customer/prospect meetings, providing inputs into proposals for the practice, and presenting and/or demonstrating our solution as part of bid presentations.
- Lead the SAP AMS solutioning process during the pre-sales lifecycle, from discovery to proposal.
- Practice Strategy and Growth:
- Developing and executing the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy in collaboration with the Account Directors, Practice Managers, and the GM of the Managed Services business to drive practice growth.
- Working within a team of Solution Experts, own the strategic solutions and ensure that these solutions are well understood within the SAP practice
- Conduct client workshops and assessments to understand current SAP environments, pain points, and support needs.
- Design custom SAP AMS solutions that cover service delivery models, SLAs, support scope, and transition plans.
- Collaborate with sales, delivery, and practice teams to build pricing models, effort estimates, and proposal content.
- Prepare and present solution proposals, pitch decks, and RFP responses tailored to client requirements.
- Ensure a consistent and repeatable methodology for the pre-sales processes and provide QA services to key RFPs.
- Stay current with SAP product evolution (S/4HANA, BTP, Fiori, etc.) and AMS delivery trends.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, demonstrating how AMS can drive operational efficiency and reduce cost.
- Support bid defense presentations, client negotiations, and due diligence sessions as needed.
The skills you will bring
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience in SAP Solutioning / Pre-sales experience
- Standout stakeholder management experience and a relationship builder by nature to ensure real collaboration with clients.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen and good understanding of sales concepts
- Strong managed services background with knowledge of ITIL and ITSM functions
- Strong familiarity and experience with Transition approach and methodology
- Strong experience in bid response writing, pricing, and renewal process
- Analytical and strategic thinking ability to solve complex managed services challenges and propose solutions.
- Attention to detail with full accountability for outcomes that deliver customer-satisfying results
- Ability to work independently in a high-velocity and dynamic team environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal & presentation.
- Strong experience in bid response writing, pricing, and renewal process
- Solid understanding of SAP solutions and products (On-premises technology/ Applications, SaaS)
