As the Claims Administration Team Leader:

  • You will lead and manage a team of administrators to ensure prompt and efficient assessment and payment of claims.
  • You will drive team performance by providing direction, technical guidance, tracking and reporting on key metrics.
  • You will motivate the team and cultivate a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • You will focus on customer experience, work quality, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • You will be comfortable running reports on activity, analysing data, guiding and completing audits as well as providing commentary and insights to senior management.
  • You will also be required to collaborate with senior managers to enhance business processes for improved service delivery and manage escalated adviser and customer complaints.
  • From time to time, you will assist in the facilitation of internal and external audit requirements and UAT/BVT testing.  

Important to your success - Unlock your potential

  • Thorough understanding of Claims First, claims processes and procedures and familiarity with Life3 systems (desirable).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure the efficient operation of the admin team to ensure KPIs and targets are met
  • Strong analytical skills. Proficient in reporting, conducting audits, data analysis and identifying trends.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and critical thinking. Questions existing processes and seeks to challenge and improve. Experience with manual processes and the ability to streamline and improve them is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
  • High-level attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Experience in motivating and supporting team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • A background in administrative roles is desirable, but not essential.
