This role is part of the Customer Service Lending Support team that provides end to end home loan application support to high performing lenders.

About the role

As a Customer Service Lending Analyst, your role will play an integral part supporting home lenders and relationship managers across the Customer Service Lending network. 

With an ongoing focus on creating lender capacity, supporting more customers and strengthening the development and career pathway for our people, this role will involve supporting select lenders and relationship managers with the structuring and submission of complex lending applications.

Your core duties will involve undertaking financial analysis and assessing the risks/opportunities on new and existing consumer lending submissions.

More specifically, you will:

  • Write, negotiate and manage consumer credit applications for new and existing clients
  • Complete credit submissions to ensure the timely delivery of decisions
  • Apply analytical skills to business problems and effectively communicate outcomes and recommendations
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, client communication and engagement to support credit submission requests
  • Undertake detailed analysis of client and industry specific financials to extract relevant information to support servicing of applications
  • Prepare concise and well-reasoned credit correspondence
  • Focus on quality, credit submissions and the minimising of rework
  • Understand and adhere to credit policy framework and changes to support credit submission of applications
  • Proactively contribute productivity ideas and best practice to the team
  • Develop and retain strong relationships with business partners and key stakeholders

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Demonstrated experience with the ability to support complex deal structuring and submissions
  • Ability to read and interpret complex financial statements
  • The experience required to quickly grasp consumer lending transactions and tailor solutions specific to client circumstances
  • Thrive in a high paced environment
  • Detailed knowledge of retail lending policies and responsible lending legislation
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills
  • Must have significant experience in the consumer lending space, with a proven track record of dealing with applications that are complex in nature

Locations:

We are seeking candidates in WA and SA. CBA supports Hybrid/ Flexible working.
