The Territory Operations Manager will assist the Area Manager/Store Managers in maintaining store profitability by upholding operational and compliance standards, coupled with sales and CX performance across their territory.

They will support in leading all Retail Operations Specialists (ROS), having a dotted matrix reporting line within their territory. You will be required to maintain a high standard across all sales, compliance and operational KPIs, providing operational and sales mentoring to store managers, 2ics and future leaders, and be their territory’s source of knowledge for all things operations, CX and compliance.

Your day in the life of a Territory Operations Manager at Optus

  • Support Area Manager: Drive sales retention by upholding customer experience (CX), operational, and compliance standards across the territory.
  • Investigate and Address Issues: Follow up on and resolve all territory operations and compliance reports.
  • Conduct Regular Store Visits: Assist the team with operational tasks and provide mentoring during store visits.
  • Engage in Weekly Calls: Actively participate in weekly Territory Operations calls, sharing ideas and updates.

Your skills to pay the bills

  • Ability to Work Unsupervised and as Part of a Team: Capable of leading tasks independently and collaborating efficiently within a team.
  • Understanding of Retail Operations and Administration: Knowledgeable in retail processes, including inventory management and customer service.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy and precision in all tasks, maintaining high standards.
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Communicates clearly and efficiently with customers, team members, and management.
