The opportunity:
There is a newly created opportunity for a Reward & Benefits Specialist to join our People and Culture team at AIA in Sydney.
This role will be critical in supporting the delivery of reward programs, ensuring smooth execution of remuneration processes, employee benefits and reward communications. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Reward you will focus on operational delivery, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement of reward initiatives and projects.
To do this successfully you will:
Support the delivery of cyclical reward activities, including the annual remuneration review
Manage the job evaluation process, ensuring consistency and alignment with organisational frameworks
Oversee the employee benefits portfolio, including novated leases and other offerings ensuring effective communication and administration
Work with the Senior Manager, Reward to oversee and manage AIA People policies
Collaborate with policy owners to annually review and maintain policies as well as adapt Group office policies and procedures for location application
Act as a central point of contract for all employee and people leader queries relating to rewards, benefits and policies and provide timely and accurate guidance
Collaborate with the reward team and assist in the delivery and of employee share programs
Assist in delivery of reward activities within the parameters of local and group policy
Support people leaders and employees to deliver training and respond to reward related queries.
Engage with benefit providers and salary survey vendors to ensure seamless delivery and effective program management
Act as a custodian of AIA’s culture and our operating philosophy of ‘Doing the Right Thing, in the Right Way, with the Right People’.
Successful applications will demonstrate:
Prior experience working within a reward or HR operations role within financial services, insurance or large-scale environment
A strong understanding of job evaluation methodologies and salary benchmarking
Successful completion of the Mercer Job Evaluation Accreditation
Experience working across employee benefits administration would be highly regarded
Strong written skills and the ability to explain complex reward policies in a simple and engaging manner
Confidence in delivering training and presentation to people leaders
Accuracy coupled with an eye for process improvement and regulatory compliance
