As part of the Commercial Banking business our focus is on meeting the needs of medium enterprises with turnover between $3M-$30M and an aggregated commercial debt of up to $10M.
Our clients’ businesses including Manufacturing, Wholesale, Retail, Diversified industrials, and Property Investment.
We place our customers at the centre of everything we do in to ensure the best outcome for their specific needs. We use a comprehensive range of products and services, including business lending, transaction banking, cash flow finance, trade finance, asset finance, wealth management and risk management.
Your impact
As a key member of the Relationship Management team, you will provide research support and analysis. You will develop an extensive database of client and industry specific information, ideas and solutions that will serve to build trust and strengthen relationships with our clients.
Do work that matters
As our Senior Analyst, you will be involved in the most complex Commercial Banking transactions in the team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Analyst to step into Senior Analyst role and gain exposure to sophisticated Commercial Banking clients and develop your leadership skills.
What does your day to day look like?
You will undertake financial modelling and analysis and assess the risks and opportunities on new lending.
Preparation of credit risk submissions, so your diligence and flair for writing papers will be impressive.
You will provide credit upskilling and training across the Banker and Analyst teams, ensuring that we maintain high quality credit applications.
You will collaborate with product specialists, undertake reporting, and monitor performance.
Conduct annual reviews for existing clients and reporting of client financial and operational performance to Risk Management.
We are a high performing team, so we are looking for the same attributes which will include the following:
Solid experience in credit origination writing within business or commercial banking.
You must be able to quickly grasp complex transactions, previous 'new to bank' transactional and credit risk.
Demonstrable ability to manage competing priorities and negotiate high-pressure situations.
Ability to engage and clearly communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong understanding of cash flow drivers and advanced credit risks, and the ability to clearly articulate findings with stakeholders
A tertiary qualification in Business/Finance and/or Commerce would highly advantageous
