About the role

• Support the development and lead the execution of Portfolio Strategies, using strength in data analytics to incorporate insights from market, competitors and consumer research, and ensuring it is appropriately reflected in our annual Financial Plan.
• Deliver the monitoring of market, competitors, performance and insight development that driver strategic pivots as needed, including defining the key performance indicators and relevant measurement indices for products/portfolios within the role remit.
• Drive active communication on enterprise topics in respect of products/portfolios within the role remit including the engagement of key stakeholders to identify and implement relevant portfolio actions across all levels and provide input to topics and prepare reports to be able to Smart Circle forum
• Liaise with the pricing team to support development of pricing strategies and capabilities to ensure the adequacy of pricing as well as providing recommendation on the commercial pricing decisions to achieve portfolio performance as according to the pricing governance and risk frameworks.

About you

• Proven analytical and critical thinking abilities to evaluate complex alternatives, make confident judgements and develop innovative, sophisticated solutions.
• Experience in managing consumer insurance products; ability to work well with both internal and external data and analytical tools is essential to the role.
• Highly developed consulting and influencing skills, demonstrating the ability of co-create strategy and valuable analytical solutions with key business stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence.
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or industry recognized accreditation.
