Position Overview:

Enterprise performance management (EPM) involves a comprehensive approach to managing and optimizing an organization’s performance. We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior System Specialist in Corporate Performance Management to join our team in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will possess extensive expertise in enterprise performance management, data management, and transformation, with a preference for proficiency in Azure, Oracle EPM, or similar tools. Experience with EPM Telstra will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enterprise/Corporate Performance Management: Demonstrated experience in management reporting, planning, budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, and profitability analysis.
  • Management Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive management reporting systems to support strategic decision-making.
  • Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting: Lead the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial projections and optimal resource allocation.
  • Statutory Reporting: Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and provide precise financial statements.
  • Product/Customer Profitability: Conduct detailed analyses of product and customer profitability to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
  • Data Management and Transformation: Extensive expertise in data management and transformation processes. Oversee data management processes, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility.
  • Data Transformation: Lead data transformation initiatives to enhance data quality and support business intelligence efforts.
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI):  AI knowledge to analyse datasets to identify patterns, predict trends, and generate actionable insights, enabling better decision-making and strategic advantages.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strategic Planning: The ability to develop and implement long-term strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in analysing large sets of data to identify trends, measure performance, and make informed decisions.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure the organization’s financial health.
  • Goal Setting: Setting clear, measurable, and achievable goals for the organization and its departments.
  • Performance Measurement: Implementing systems to track and measure performance against set goals and benchmarks.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills to convey performance expectations, provide feedback, and ensure alignment across the organization.
  • Change Management: The ability to manage and lead organizational change initiatives to improve performance.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving performance goals.
  • Problem-Solving: The ability to identify performance issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with EPM software and tools to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy. Proficiency in Azure, Oracle EPM, or similar performance management tools.
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI):  AI knowledge on datasets to provide insights.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in Telstra or similar telecommunications environments is highly desirable.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate performance management or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
