Your business:
The Technology division delivers the Group’s information technology and banking operations functions to ensure the highest levels of customer service through world-class process excellence and technology innovation. Cyber Security protects the bank and our customers from theft, losses and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk.

Cyber Security protects the Bank and our customers from theft, losses and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk.
The Security Outreach and Customer engagement team:
Manages all-customer facing cyber training and awareness assets.
Contributes to building the cyber skills talent pipeline through strategic partnerships.
Provides cyber awareness and education presentations to customers.
Seeks opportunities for collaboration across Government, the education sector and industry to uplift cyber awareness in the community.
Do work that matters:
The Manager, Security Outreach and Customer Engagement is responsible for developing and executing Group-wide strategic security outreach programs aimed at improving how we educate and protect our customers and support a strong cyber skills pipeline to help meet future demand.
This role will help shape a Group-wide approach to Outreach activity, raising cyber security awareness among the Australian community, business and retail customers to increase cyber resilience.
A day in the Life:
Help drive the strategy for outreach programs including skills development, industry engagement and services to customer-facing lines of business.
Actively manage security partnerships and sponsorships including ensuring strategic alignment and project managing shared initiatives.
Work with technical and non-technical team members to create, publish and promote security awareness content to be shared with staff, customers and the broader community.
Engage with our customer facing teams (across retail consumer and business bank) to deliver engaging and educational cyber content to a range of customers.
Deliver cyber education presentations or record webinars for high value clients and industry partners.
The successful candidate will have the following:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to articulate cyber security concepts catered to different audiences in a creative manner.
An understanding of cyber risk frameworks, drivers of cyber risks and common control frameworks.
An interest in the cyber threat landscape.
A drive to uplift cyber security literacy and skills among Australians.
Demonstrated experience in a similar Cyber Security role.
Ability to manage budgets and lead multiple programs of work.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Experience managing and influencing stakeholders.
Open to some domestic travel.
