About the role:

Lendlease’s Investment Management and Asset Operations Business is currently seeking a National Capital Works Program Manager for our Office and Industrial portfolio nationwide.

In this role, you will be responsible for overall strategic planning of a program of capital works projects and have accountability for the implementation and performance of those projects by external parties. This will include, but is not limited to:

  • Program establishment, and stakeholder and supplier engagement.

  • Program strategy and planning, development of scopes of work, program priorities, and budgets/forecasts. 

  • Program execution, governance, and commercial oversight.

  • Resource Management and procurement.

  • Management of P&L, performance and financial reporting.

  • Risk Management.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Proven understanding of portfolio management principles, capital planning, risk management, construction contracts, cost management principles and stakeholder engagement.

  • Proven experience managing complex programs or portfolios of projects preferably from within the real estate or construction industry.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, and senior management.

  • A professional approach and the ability to build trust, and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinking and forward planning, with strong problem solving, decision making and influencing skills.

  • Financial acumen and budget management skills.
