The opportunity:
AIA currently has an opportunity available for a People Advisor to join our People and Culture team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Employee Relations and People Partnering the successful incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day overall coordination of HR queries and in-progress transactions and for these to be resolved or escalated as needed.
You will play a key role in ensuring all HR service level agreements are achieved, and a consistent, timely and professional service is provided to our internal colleagues. To do this successfully you will:
Be responsible for the coordination of workflow within the People Advisory and People and Culture business processes
Monitor and manage query volumes, response times and performance to SLA’s
Manage the phone queue for employee enquiries
Be responsible for case management queries that are general in nature and are received through Workday or the People Advisory inbox
Take ownership and resolution of case escalations
Work with the broader People and Culture team to build and improve on the quality of Knowledge base articles and Workday content
Update and support documentation and process improvement through the use of Promapp and Workday
Coordinate the timely and accurate entry of data in Workday, across the People Advisory team and directly as required
Ensure excellent customer service is provide to our colleagues and people leaders across the business at all times
Develop exceptional working relationships with key stakeholders both within the People and Culture team and across the broader organisation
Act as a custodian of AIA’s culture and our operating philosophy of ‘Doing the Right Thing, in the Right Way, with the Right People’.
Successful applications will demonstrate:
Previous experience within a similar role in HR service delivery
Prior Workday experience managing HR data and service desk for queries and knowledge management
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Management or similar
Experience in writing knowledge articles, FAQs and HR Processes highly regarded
A solid understanding of generalist HR principles and practices with the confidence to make recommendations and improvements and implement them effectively
The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and needs in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding communication skills, including effective influencing and negotiation skills
Exceptional relationship building skills
