Are you ready to lead and innovate in the world of risk management? Allianz is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager for Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) to oversee the TPRM lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. This pivotal role is the central point of accountability for managing third-party risks, providing expert guidance to Allianz Australia Limited (AAL) stakeholders, and delivering comprehensive TPRM reporting to Group, AAL, and regulatory authorities.

About the Role

As the Senior Manager, TPRM, you will drive the establishment and maintenance of a robust TPRM governance framework. You will ensure consistency and alignment with Group and AAL policies, standards, and regulatory requirements, while overseeing the Material Service Provider (MSP) Register and guiding business owners through the TPRM lifecycle. Your strategic leadership will foster business continuity and resilience through effective third-party relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain the TPRM governance framework, ensuring policies and procedures align with regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Provide comprehensive oversight of third-party risk management, guiding business owners through the TPRM lifecycle and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Lead risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies with procurement and business owners to address category-specific third-party risks.
  • Implement training and awareness programs for senior management and business owners on TPRM roles and responsibilities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the TPRM lifecycle, driving operational efficiency and aligning activities with organizational strategies.
  • Prepare and present monitoring and reporting mechanisms to senior management and governance committees, ensuring effective service provider relationships and IT tool integration.

About You

  • Over 10 years of expertise in third-party risk management, procurement, or governance, with strong regulatory compliance knowledge.
  • Extensive experience in senior operations, leading teams in a multi-platform, multi-business line environment.
  • Expert understanding of risk management, assessment, governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Proficient in contract and risk management systems such as Ariba and Service Now.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and empower teams, fostering individual and collective potential.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders, establishing strong relationships and influencing outcomes.
