The Everyday Business Banking (EBB) team supports the full spectrum of customers’ needs from the smallest businesses to the largest corporates. We have accountability for Deposit and Transaction Product, and Portfolio Management, Commercial Cards, Cash Channel Strategy, Payments Acceptance Solutions, Business Customer Onboarding, Customer lifecycle Management, and Business Customer Propositions.

Our Payments Acceptance Business is seeking multiple critical Product Management roles to accelerate the delivery of our Merchant Transformation program.Delivery of the Merchant Transformation program will enable new market leading capability to support our Merchant Customers. This Includes enabling new product development, uplifted pricing capability, and increased platform resiliency to drive better customer outcomes.This is critically important for our transaction banking strategy as we move away from legacy platforms and lead in merchant payments.

We have a variety of Manager, Senior Manager and Chapter Lead level roles, on a permanent and secondment/Maximum Term Contract basis. You will join one of our Payments Acceptance Crews, (Card Present, e-Commerce, Acquisition Retention Engagement (AER) to shape the future for our merchants. You will collaborate with your Crew, and with stakeholders on the Merchant Transformation program to deliver on our objectives.

You will leverage your domain and industry knowledge, thought leadership, and strategic mindset to drive outcomes across the Merchant Transformation program, and Payments Acceptance business.

We are looking for people who have

  • Experience in Product Management with 3-7 years of relevant experience, ideally within the Payments domain.

  • Experience in managing migration or transition programs is preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills with experience managing multiple stakeholders

  • Appropriate university qualification; degree or masters

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in product strategy, planning and execution.

  • Strong technical knowledge to be able to support best practice solution design.

  • Comfortable with navigating ambiguity and ability to work flexibly through change.

  • Experience working in an agile environment and enjoy collaborating with others.

  • Passion to build genuine lasting relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
