We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our team in Macquarie Park. The primary purpose of this role is to facilitate the delivery of Collaboration support services, including UC and VC platforms, to Optus Enterprise and Government customers. This role involves regular interaction with customer stakeholders and client delivery groups to ensure successful and timely delivery.

Your day in the life of a Technical Specialist - Collaboration at Optus

  • Provide mentoring and assistance to Collaboration specialists and Analysts within the team.
  • Focus on DevOps and Automation to remove repetition from tasks and deliver value through saved hours and increased efficiencies.
  • Operate within an environment based on industry best practices for Service Management with ITIL as the framework.
  • Work closely with Customer Delivery Managers, project managers, team leaders/managers, and Incident, Problem, and Change managers.
  • Be part of the on-call roster for incident escalation and resolution.

Your skills to pay the bills

  • Cisco Collaboration Suite experience including CUCM, CUC, UCCX, UCCE, CUAC.
  • Microsoft Teams Calling support & Microsoft Teams Room MTR experience.
  • AudioCodes SBC and voice gateways with different protocols like SIP, H323 & MGCP.
  • Jabber phone, hard phone, CIPC, and device profile configuration.
  • Configuration and solving of voice mail, call handler, and auto attendant creation in CUC issues.
  • Understanding of Voice Gateway Protocol (H.323, MGCP, SIP, and ISDN).
  • Monitoring and collecting logs for CUCM, CUC, Finesse, and CUIC using RTMT tool.
  • Webex Control Hub – Onboarding/offboarding and Cisco Endpoint troubleshooting.
