What you do

This is a 12-month contract for a maternity cover. Reporting to the Head of B2C Australia, as B2C E-commerce Manager for Travel and Assistance, you will have the responsibility for driving profitable revenue growth within the Travel and Assistance product lines. Your responsibilities will include to:

  • Develop the local plans for the acquisition and retention digital marketing programs (i.e. paid and organic search, display and email) in-line with the global B2C marketing strategy to achieve overall B2C revenue goals and program objectives, which includes:
    • Managing the marketing budget and allocate spend to digital media channels to optimize results and achieve pre-set acquisition ratios and cost per sale targets
    • Setting campaign goals and objectives
    • Partnering with internal and external agencies for media planning, buying and campaign optimization
    • Monitoring, tracking and reporting program performance metrics to key stakeholders; and making recommendations for improved performance
  • Establish the content calendar and oversee content development and publishing to drive organic search volume and AI search rankings
  • Be the champion of the website customer experience. Monitor and report on website performance. Collaborate with the Digital Product team on rolling out enhancements to improve customer experience and conversion rates.
  • Remain current on competitor activity to ensure that AGA is well positioned in the market
  • Conduct periodic deep dive reviews of the programs and present findings to key stakeholders, such as SLT
  • Work on cross-functional teams to accomplish common goals
  • Act as the key point of contact with the Allianz Direct business unit
  • Conduct quarterly product, pricing, marketing and operational reviews with Allianz Direct in line with the annual review calendar
  • Deliver regular reporting of performance and progress towards KPIs
  • Day-to-day management of Direct Travel and Assistance marketing team
  • Attending all relevant training and delivering on the Legal & Compliance requirements of the role

What you bring

  • 7+ years of e-commerce direct-to-consumer experience with a focus on digital marketing  

  • Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies to drive sales growth 

  • Strong stakeholder management experience and ability to build effective relationships at all levels of business 

  • Team player with strong cross-functional skills   

  • Autonomous, self-motivated result-oriented   

  • Creative, yet metrics and analytics driven – ability to translate analytical results into an action plan 

  • Experience in managing external media and creative agencies to deliver effective campaigns and improved results  

  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
