Job Description

The Team

AI for SEEK team is part of the broader SEEK AI Group which includes over 200 AI professionals delivering AI services for our core products under the Group Executive, AI. The AI for SEEK team is responsible for driving operational excellence and continuous improvement within SEEK by identifying, testing, developing / adopting innovative AI solutions that improve productivity and operational efficiency.  This role reports to the Head of AI Transformation.  

About the role 

As the Senior Technical Product Manager, you will play a key role in SEEK's strategic AI adoption journey, driving enterprise-wide transformation that enhances operational excellence and market competitiveness. You will drive the continuous evolution of our AI tools (including but not limited to STELA) to solve internal business challenges. Working closely with SEEK Excellence and key stakeholders across functions, you will translate strategic vision into practical roadmaps that deliver on our company OKRs, including improved operational efficiency and increased productivity across departments.

Your work will directly contribute to:

•    Accelerating internal workflows through AI-powered automation and assistance •    Reducing manual effort in repetitive tasks, allowing SEEKers to focus on higher-value work •    Improving decision-making processes with AI-enhanced insights and recommendations •    Optimising operating leverage by doing more with the same resources •    Creating measurable improvements in team productivity, operational efficiency, and cost savings •    Supporting SEEKers with tools that make their work more effective and satisfying

Responsibilities 

As the Senior Product Manager, your responsibilities include:

Strategic alignment •    Partner with key stakeholders to understand business goals and how AI can drive positive outcomes •    Translate strategic objective such as operational excellence into actionable initiatives with clear                 success metrics

AI advocacy and evolution •    Advocate for and shape the evolution of SEEK's AI tools to meet changing business needs •    Stay current with AI advancements and identify opportunities to apply them to internal operations

Product roadmap development •    Work closely with engineering teams to develop product roadmaps for AI initiatives •    Prioritise features based on trade-offs, business impact, technical complexity, and resource constraints

Requirements definition •    Derive detailed user and functional requirements based on internal stakeholder needs and business strategy •    Create comprehensive product specifications that balance technical feasibility with business value

Solution evaluation •    Conduct option analysis to determine the most effective path forward for product features •    Evaluate build vs buy decisions for AI capabilities with clear ROI assessment

Release management •    Manage releases and rollouts, ensuring seamless adoption of new tools •    Coordinate cross-functional efforts to deliver high-quality AI solutions on schedule

Performance optimisation •    Monitor performance against KPIs and adjust strategies to optimise results •    Implement feedback loops to continuously improve AI models and features

Stakeholder communication •    Communicate complex AI concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders •    Build consensus around product decisions through transparent and data-driven discussions

Qualifications

Skills and experience 

• Proven experience in product management, preferably with AI/ML products
• Strong understanding of AI capabilities and limitations in practical business applications
•  Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate data insights into product decisions
• Outstanding communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working with engineering teams to deliver complex technical solutions
• Commercial mindset with focus on delivering business value
• Collaborative approach with ability to influence without direct authority

Other Qualifications, Skills and Experience 

The following experience is preferred, but not essential:   

•    8+ years of experience in AI transformation, product management, architecture, strategy or related               fields  •    Demonstrated success in delivering products with measurable business impact  •    Proven ability to independently manage high-value product deliveries from ideation through execution
