About This Role

As a CloudOps - Cloud Engineering, you will design, implement, and manage scalable AWS solutions with a strong emphasis on identity management, networking, security, monitoring, backup, and automation. Working with onshore and offshore teams, you will ensure the performance, security, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure.

What you'll do:

Configuration & Identity:

  • Deploy solutions on AWS in line with best practices and business requirements.
  • Manage identity services using AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and implement role-based access controls.

Networking:

  • Configure Amazon Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), subnets, security groups, and network ACLs.
  • Manage AWS VPN Gateway, AWS Direct Connect, VPC peering, and implement AWS Transit Gateway to ensure secure connectivity.
  • Leverage services such as AWS Firewall Manager, Application Load Balancer, and AWS WAF for advanced network security and traffic management.

Security & Compliance:

  • Deploy security solutions such as AWS Security Hub, Amazon GuardDuty, and AWS Config for continuous compliance monitoring.
  • Manage keys and secrets using AWS Key Management Service (KMS) and AWS Secrets Manager, and enforce security policies with AWS Organizations and Service Control Policies (SCPs).

Monitoring & Diagnostics:

  • Implement AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, and AWS X-Ray for real-time performance tracking, logging, and troubleshooting.

Backup & Disaster Recovery:

  • Administer AWS Backup and design disaster recovery strategies using multi-region architectures and AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery.

Automation & DevOps Practices:

  • Develop scripts using AWS CLI and SDKs (e.g., Python/Boto3) to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with AWS CloudFormation and Terraform, and build CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
  • Leverage serverless automation through AWS Lambda and orchestrate workflows with AWS Step Functions.

Who you are:

  • 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on AWS.
  • Proven expertise in identity management (AWS IAM, SSO, MFA, role-based policies) and networking components (VPCs, security groups, VPN, Direct Connect).
  • Solid background in implementing AWS security solutions, monitoring systems, and backup strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in automation and DevOps practices (AWS CLI, CloudFormation, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile, SCRUM, or Kanban methodologies.
