As an Assembly Technician, you will work in a thriving workshop environment overseeing the delivery of solutions to our base. You will take responsibility for mechanical maintenance ensuring quality and completion. You will contribute to the success of a large team that plays an integral part in our business.

As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing electro-mechanical testing and assembly on equipment.
  • Troubleshooting, assembling, disassembling, testing and performing visual inspection of electro mechanical assemblies.
  • Identifying and communicate technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques.
  • Achieving and maintaining Competency Assessments as required.
  • Performing complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction and documentation.
  • Using of multi-meters, meg, ohmmeter, hi-pot testers and other basic instruments.
  • Performing heat tests, final assembly, sensor assembly and/or PCBA installation.
  • Following the competency management program requirements and works under administrative supervision.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Diploma in Electrical/Electronics
  • Have more than 3 years of experience in Electromechanical Assemblies
  • Be abile to work in a competitive environment.
  • Have a strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists and follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.
  • Be Proficient in the use of oscilloscopes. 
  • Have an advanced computer skills.
