The Quality Compliance Engineering Specialist is a role that can have varied responsibilities. Relating to the maintenance of our Quality Management System (QMS), Multisite Certification Program, conducting of ISO and/or API audits. Ensuring regulatory or industry standards are embedded into our quality systems and processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Acting member of Internal Audit and Compliance Team in performing evaluation for compliance with regulatory, statutory or industry standards requirements.
  • Assessing compliance of systems, processes, and procedures through internal audits
  • Providing feedback in the form of audit findings and observation and review corrective actions
  • Providing regional support on regulatory and industry standards expertise
  • Raising corrective action requests for any nonconformities identified, follow up and review effectiveness until proper closure
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for industry standards, regulatory and stator requirements
  • Identifying and/or implementing regulatory compliance initiatives based on current and forthcoming regulatory requirements
  • Identifying cost-out opportunities and elevate to lead/supervisor/manager/AMO engineer for review/implementation

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelors' degree in a quality or engineering discipline.
  • Have 5+ years of experience in a similar role or in Quality & Compliance within the Oil & Gas indust
  • Have proven knowledge of industry standards and codes which includes Energy, Oil & Gas or similar fields.
  • Have demonstrable technical knowledge of API Spec Q1 & Q2 / ASTM / ASME / NORSOK etc.
  • Be a Certified Lead Auditor.
  • Be Certified Auditor status ISO 9001:2015 and/or API Q1/API Q2 or deemed subject matter expert for Oil & Gas industry quality standard
  • Have past and current leadership experience
  • Have good communication (spoken, read & written) skills in English.
  • Show experience of working with cross-functional teams within a global-matrix environment.
