Job Summary

SC Ventures is looking for an operations specialist to support its investment activities in Singapore and Dubai, taking ownership of the monitoring and reporting for a portfolio of unlisted investments. This is a wide-ranging role covering a variety of middle office activities and involves dealing with a number of internal stakeholders across finance, legal, risk and compliance as well as the investment committees. The individual is also expected to support the investment team with a variety of ad-hoc tasks.

The candidate should have between 2-5 years’ experience in investment support in a fund or family office covering venture capital or private equity investments. Crypto and blockchain experience would be helpful but is not essential. They should be familiar with portfolio reporting as well as compliance, finance, legal, tax and valuation for private market investments.

The individual should be familiar with DIFC rules and regulations as they relate to private companies as this role is based in SC Ventures DIFC office in Dubai UAE.

Responsible for supporting SCV’s Funds and Investments business in Singapore and Dubai and overseeing reporting for a portfolio of unlisted investments

Qualifications

Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business or Accounting

Qualified Chartered Accountant is not necessary but would be beneficial

English language skills mandatory, Arabic would be beneficial
