Job Description

As the Head of Acceptance Risk & Identity Solutions CEMEA, you will lead the strategy, prioritization, and development of products using Visa’s transaction data & its broad network of partnerships to help clients/partners take better business decisions, manage profitability, risk & fraud. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute Visa’s strategy for acceptance risk services, scale our identity & authentication solutions for merchants, acquirers, payfacs and other acceptance ecosystem players, and build out a roadmap for new value added services in this domain. Identifying partnerships, scoping the build of products and services while working with global leaders, technology partners and in-market teams will bring this vision to life.  You will be responsible for delivering revenue from acceptance risk & identity solutions in CEMEA.

Important to the role is a customer oriented mindset when developing solutions while having a strong commercial understanding of a network business including the application of leading technologies. Collaborating with internal and external partners and clients will lead to industry leading solutions that unlock the beneficial use cases for consumers and businesses. Specifically, you will partner closely with the Core Solutions and Risk teams, market teams and, global solutions teams to ensure that the CEMEA suite of solutions meets the needs of our region. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the client-facing identity product team tasked with product leadership, deployment, and integration services to rollout products

  • Establish and develop Strategy and go-to-market vision for new solutions

  • Grow our revenue from acceptance risk & identity solutions in this region

  • Develop a pipeline of new revenue generating solutions working with the global teams and partners

  • Support country product management with expertise, resource allocation, collaboration on strategy and solutions

  • Execute strategy with leadership – such functions include providing general commercialization guidance, prioritization, influencing merchant and issuers, providing oversight of product-related deals and contract terms, support brokering of deals and partnership, etc. 

  • Present Visa’s vision and products to ecosystem partners, clients, executives

  • Partner with the market teams to build and disseminate best practices across the region

  • Understanding of Visa business and organization strongly preferred

  • Passion for the transformative power of technology for the good of the world

  • An impressive record of risk/identity solutions delivered from idea through to commercialization

  • Ability to connect the dots between product, design, technology, and strategy to solve complex problems

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications •10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 7 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 4 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 13+ years of relevant work experience. Preferred Qualifications •Conceptual, strategic thinker •Deep expertise in fraud and identity solutions in acceptance ecosystem (with merchants, acquirers, payfacts, etc.) •10+ years of experience, including 5+ years of experience in product management & product sales in B2B domain •Strong project management skills and business acumen – ability to influence strategy while driving tactical program execution •Possess significant functional knowledge, including software development, marketing, sales, legal, etc. •Proven track record of high performance and recognized as a subject matter expert in relevant business areas •Creativity and resourcefulness to overcome unexpected roadblocks •Excellent contract and negotiation skills
